Ok then today i went to the SILRA home to interact with the old folks again. The old folk there were more friendly becos they can communicate and more mobile. erm yah play more games today to do some bonding between TFs and comms. hahas was a real challenging one..ok then i was told my attachment is going to be at Tan Tock Seng Ren Ci Hospital..the one i went last week i was like huh oh no.. but i can do it one la!!! then later i tink zhi xuan will also be helping me becos he also wont be able to go for the attachment. so tts abt it for the day..after me and caiying went compass poin for lunch and went home..

Hey went out almost the whole day today ar..walk until so tired..
Hehes went causeway with lavanyah cos she say metro really got nice dress for prom..
so we try a few and i suggest we go bugis to find..

but then tt crazee woman suddenly wanted to eat seoul garden!! and seriously force me to eat so we went la..

So we quickly went OG..nth nice there too but i end up buying another flip flop from surfer paradise. .although i jus bought one frm ripples on fri..So nice ar..












and went back to bugis street again for a white necklace..and then back again to causeway for that plain green tube dress..

ok so the prom thing is almost done!!
hahas i am daarn so happy today..
but tml i will shop again!!

Yes it was a real experience indeed..
well went to the Ren Ci hospital today to refresh the feeling of volunteering again.. and also get to noe how it is like to do volunteer work concerning the old folks.

ok some of the problem i face:
1. fear of rejection
2.communication barrier
3.donnoe what to do with them(no topic to talk with)

then during the debrief i learnt that actually communication is not a barrier. it is actually how we face that problem and solve it. so if we don understand wat the old folk is talking abt, we jus had to smile and nod to them and they will really appreciate that already..becos wat they really need is a listening ears.

and some other things like cant get the respond from the old folks. we have to try and say smth that will trigger their brain and for most case, i think shld be their children.. they will jus suddenly get so agigated and respond to you already..

another idea by daniel..darn lame.. if we meet an old folk who keep complaining abt some other ppl there or the nurse say wat they don like them. We cant do anything rite.. ok then we will like take a water bottle and tell them is a machine gun..and tell them ehh who u don like.? i help u shoot them.. its abit violence but erm tink maybe they like can liao..

hahas so thats abt it..later went to united square the most boring place for luch..and eat the worst soy sauce chicken noodles..yuck!! and then shop shop awhile there and went to causeway to find gt any prom dress.. so is no la hahas.

OMG..

One of my forte POA had really screwed me up real bad this time..
I was hoping my POA to get at least an A2, look like now its gone case..

WTH!! how can I/E came out and that darn almagation thingy came out.??
ms eng did go through I/E but the almagation was like HUH since when we learn..

but i still chose to do almagation..cos i remember nuts abt I/E..but still got some vivid memory of wat my tution teacher say abt almagation..but i what i written was crap.

Its ok dying flat down now..just hoping i can score at least 25/30 for the mcq on fri.
